Both lines working....
We drove 200 miles for a 45 minute visit! Everything went as well as planned. We arrived about 7 a.m., was taken immediately back to a room, vascular access came right away, meds delivered from pharmacy, the clot was dissolved and on our way back home. I was down for my nap by 11:00 a.m! Thank you for prayers. Both of her lumens are now working. It could happen again but we are hoping not soon. I am going to find out if our local hospital can do this quick procedure her if it happens again. Whatever it is called we aren't allowed to do in the home with our nurses but it isn't that hard. Annabel is doing fine and happy to be home.

I would think your local hospital should be qualified to do this in the future, Cathy.
So very happy to hear Team Annabel is back home.
Love you girls!!! Prayers asking for more than we can think or imagine are being lifted for our sweet girl.
thanks for the update...now get some rest! glad to hear that lines are working and that y'all are home! love y'all!
They absolutely can. They did it for Mallorie at St. E .... but some people don't LIKE to do it, just to warn you. One guy refused, even with orders. But if one of the guys you like from the IV team is willing ... don't you have one of the guy's phone number? ER calls someone from the team and sets you up a time ... they get orders for the med, etc and then meet you in the ER .... it worked perfectly.
Yea, Connie! Good to hear in case it happens again!
So glad things are working properly now. Man you all have been through so much lately! Hope Annabel is feeling ok and able to rest and grow. She is so precious!!
