Waiting for Ike...

As of now we have a little rain, winds about 40 miles an hour and we still have power. I am praying that this storm will not cause the damage they are predicting. That it will come ashore and dissapate. That is my prayer. They are saying that this storms expanse is so large that the winds will stay up for about 9-12 hours. Thank you for your continued prayers for all people in Ike's path.

Cathy,

I have been praying like crazy for you guys and Connie and Kenzie too. It looks so scarey on the news and I am sure it is 100 times over in person. Praying for your safety and for it to be over soon with minimal damage for you. Be safe and I love you.

Cathy,

Oh girl! Just saw pictures of Beaumont on the weather channel!
Cannot wait to hear you all are okay! Heard you mostly likely don't have power so it may be awhile.

Prayers are continuing, dear friend!!!

May God bless and keep you all safe,
Kathy

I have just heard from Cathy and she said they were fine and might be heading to Dallas tomorrow. They do not have power and might night for several days. So I thought I would relay this message
