Jacob gets his wings...
I just recieved news that Precious Jacob Ryan Fahmer has been given his wings and Heaven is rejoicing. I hope it is not my lack of faith, but I am so broken hearted. No, I did not personally know this lil man, but we have walked with his family daily through his blog. He was such a fighter and his family believed in his purpose so much. They know he is in a great place, but there will be times how their heart and arms will ache. Please pray for this special family. Their lives have been so consumed with his love and care for 138 days that this lil man of 6lbs. 5oz. will leave a huge hole in their hearts. I am thankful to Jesus for his life and all the people who came to know him and his purpose on Earth.

Thank you for posting this on your blog Cathy. My heart is broken for them as they let go of this little guy who stole their hearts for 138 days. I am going to miss him like crazy. My heart breaks for Karen and her husband and the boys who loved on him so much. We lost a really special little warrior tonight. I know Jesus is telling him "well done my faithful little servant". I know I should be happy, but for now I am so sad.
Love you friend, Laurie in Ca.
Cathy, your so sweet to comment on little Jacob on your blog! There story I know will continue to touch thousands of hearts yet. I am going to sit here and read your story. Thank you for commenting on my blog. Isn't it so encouraging to get notes from people you don't even know and yet we all feel a connection somehow. Your daughter by the way is so beautiful! I can't wait to read your story, so by for now and I will be back! and if you don't mind, I would love to put a link to your site on Abigails.. let me know if that is o.k. Tamara
o.k. I just finished reading your entire blog and I have to say with all the sincerity in my heart, "YOU... Cathy are an increadible woman!" What a blessing you are to all these wonderful kids that you have! Looking at your family photo I would have NEVER guessed that they were all adopted! WOW my hat is of to you! We have so many similar things with our daughters even though they have different diagnosis. Did you know Abigail was born just 9 day before Annabel? Abigails middle name is Grace, Abigail has a uncle Lanny (which I was shocked when I read that becase I have never hear my brothers name anywhere!) Abigail starts school in September 08, Abigail has hard veins to get an i.v. in they call them "spider veins". We are leaving for New York to see her nuerologist to get an E.E.G. done at the end of June. Wow I wish we were closer that would be so fun to meet and let our little angels play together! If you ever come to CO for anything, please come visit us! :) Tamara will be back daily and will be praying for your sweet angel!
Just coming to see Annabel's precious smile. Cathy, you and sweet Annabel are a true blessing!
With love,
Kim
