Thank you for prayers...keep them coming,

We know Annabel is being covered in prayer and it brings us much peace. I was raised Catholic and my prayer life basically consisted vof Hail Mary's and Our Fathers and the Glory Be! I love to hear my friends that pray more in conversational prayer. I wish I worried less and prayed much more.

I don't really have much positive to report. She is on the vent. They did have to bag her twice last night but not since midnight. They are having to give Mede to keep blood presides up and her oxygen levels low. Will hope for hopeful news on rounds.
Thank you for continued prayers!

Having been raised Catholic I fully understand you point about prayer. But, there is a real peace that comes from the rhythym of those three prayers. When I really pay attention to the meaning I realize how beautiful they really are.
Cathy, you are a living example of living the word. Your every action in caring for your daughter, always putting her needs first. Single minded in her care, but generous is sharing her with those who love her. I can not think of a single better way to honor God. You live by his son's example every day. I love the way you pray. You remind me of word to a beautiful song. Jesus, you are my King, everything I do, I do to honor you. Edie

Annabel is in our thoughts and most definitely our prayers, Cathy. She is such a sweet, sweet, baby girl and I know God has his angels near her. I will continue to check here for updates, too.

Dear Lord,

Please wrap Annabel and her family in Your loving arms. Give them Your peace, strength, grace and hope. I pray that You will heal her sweet body and bring her back home with her family very soon! Thank You Lord for placing Annabel in such a loving family, please allow them to continue to care for her. Thank You for the inspiration that Annabel and her family has been to so many! In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

Rest up sweet girl! Heal quickly and get home again soon! Thinking of you all and praying too! Big Hugs!!!

Praying now as I always have been for this precious little angel - and please know that St Henry in Bridge City is also praying for her.....and for all of y'all !! May He wrap His loving and comforting arms around all of you....I'll never forget the first time I saw her - a couple of ACTS Sisters were just about fighting over who would hold her !!!! Blessings and love...

Hey, Cath. Apparently, God has been hearing a whole lot of "Catholic prayers," because Annabel still shines right here. :) I know what you are trying to say, and want to say right back that I see Christ in YOUR life. He must be exceedingly proud of your sweet, but humble way of living the life He gave you, and of honoring the life He gave to Annabel. Your whole story, how you came to be her mommy, is one of the most beautiful stories I know.

I also know (as you know) that this is a very tough time for you. Do as Pam told me to do, way back during Mallorie's first "extended stay" at that hospital (and as I mostly panicked and did not remember to do) ... let Him carry you. You cannot by worrying add one day to her life. But we know the one who can and does decide all that is to be known about her, and her life. And He is completely able to raise her from that bed, with healthy lungs. He has certainly shown so much of His power through her, and used her to prepare the way out here for Mallorie. If she has more work to do, He will and can make sure she's up to it. :) So you can follow her example and just wait and see what God is going to do. We are all praying continually for her healing. I miss her smile. I miss seeing her with that pacifier in her mouth! :) Heck, I miss seeing YOU smile. Don't forget the complimentary earplugs and eyemasks. :) Did you find a priest?

Tommy and I are praying for all of you. We have been so blessed by the way God has used precious Annabel as a vessel to others. She is a strong little girl-just like the rest of her family. God hears every prayer.....
