Tooth fairy?????

Well after 3 attempts at home to pull her very loose tooth, we elected to call our pedi dentist and let him do it. It had been very loose for 3 weeks and there was the contant worry that she could swallow it. She was such a big girl and it was very quick. In one of the pictures she looks scared but I think it happen so quick and she was just curious as to why his hands were in her mouth.
Annabel will be going back for surgery this Monday to place a central line (Broviac) into her chest. Also her GI doctor will go in for biopsies a 3 rd time since June. Please keep her in your prayers that it will be quick and we will return home that night. Also, her new hemotology doctor is getting some concerning results. There have been so few post and I am sorry. There are many things going on with Annabel and I am still processing them. There is still no hope for any type of food into her belly and I am struggling with this also. At this time we have removed her from all outside therapy as it seem too much for her body. She tires easily and is pale many days. I will try to update with the findings after her surgery on Monday.

OK, I'm glad you said yourself that she looked scared, because she sure did! I'm glad it seemed like it was just for a moment, and I hope she gets something from the tooth fairy for all that. :)

She is such a doll. God is still able, Cathy.

May i know why she needs the central line in her chest?

I hope it's not as complicated as it sounds.

Totally understand with no posts means you're super busy with Annabel!

All the best for the surgery.

Kathy I've been reading Annbel's story, it makes me so happy that she has a wonderfull family. I also have my Bella who will turn 2 this Nov 11 she also has full trisomy 18. I'm really praying for her healing and for the Lord to give you peace with every decision you make for her, I know it must be hard, I know it is for me when Bella has something going on, but I know that you make them with the love of a mother to her child. May God bless you, and your dearest angel, I will be praying for her, I know you have a touhg week coming up, the Lord will be with you and Annabel.

What a sweetheart Annabel is. Cathy I am sorry for all of these challenges that you are going through. I will pray that you obtain the wisdom to make the best decisions for Annabel. No little girl could be loved more by her family than your sweet princess.

Cathy,

Thank you for sharing this post. It brought back many happy memories of Rowan, and I remember having a similar experience at the dentist. Not fun for us moms either.

Hugs to you both. I keep Annabel in my thoughts and prayers that you and your team will find an answer soon.

And I love the pictures. She's always dressed so cute. Just like a little doll.

Love, Colleen

So glad to see a post Cathie, it seems if we don't hear from you things are rocky for Annabel. Sending prayers for healing and wisdom.... I miss seeing her sweet pictures! Take care of yourself

I hope the tooth fairy made a stop with a cool prize!

She is in my constant thoughts and prayers. I am so proud of her in so many ways. Same is true for you. I agree that the expression was due to something in her mouth, other than a pacifer and a toothbrush.
