Seems like I just brought them home....

and I find myself sending them off...I spend a great three days with Carly and Colette (my twin girls). It was a very busy, tiring, happy, and informative three day. It seems they were able to get the classes they wanted and that they will be very busy and need to study very hard. Of course, I am sure they will find a balance, hoping academic outweighs the fun/party aspects of this new found freedom. The campus is so big and we walked so much (sometimes in circles)trying to find all the places we needed to be. They actually stayed with a friend who is there attending summer school for the next two days. So they are getting a few days of college life a bit early. I know that what is left of summer will fly by. I have added a few pictures !

Lovely pictures and lovely girls! But hey - first few weeks of university (here in the UK, at any rate) are all about partying and having fun... work comes later! It's part of growing up, here, to learn how to party hard and to work hard without "adult" supervision.

What a fun and exciting time of life and I am so glad you and Mel were there with your beautiful daughters to experience it! Not only will the summer fly by, as you know the next four years will too!

Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures and your adventure on A & M's beautiful campus. Can you explain the significance of the ring to a Michigan girl? Thanks!

Okay, so I am jealous that you get to move two girls into dorms. Wait! That's twice the clothes, shoes, accessories... maybe not! ;-)

I bet Annabel was thrilled to have you all back home!

You are such a dear and wonderful person and mother. May God continue to bless you and your awesome family!!!

In reply to the lovely comment you left on my blog - it is horrendously difficult to let them go! I only have one, but I can imagine that it gets more difficult each time, not easier.

And now my first grandbaby is due within the next week or so, and that makes it even harder....

Another passageway to adulthood. The pictures are wonderful. Remember you aren't letting them go, you are only allowing them to fly.....the nest will always be waiting for them to return.

So glad you were able to be there and send them off. God will take care of them.
