I think you are right. The pros and cons have to be weighed. Of course her tummy is going to be bigger and a little uncomfortable on feeds - it hasn't had any for so long. I think if you take it nice and slow, you are on the right path. Like you said, infections can be fatal and discomfort is not. That doesn't mean that Annabel should be in pain, but I definitely understand where you are and what you are saying. We were in the same place. I think that I would push them to let you take it REAL slow. If a 40ml feed (20/20 mix) is going good, I wouldn't even bump it by another 10 at a time. We go up SO slow. Literally 5ml at a time. Their little tummies are so sensitive and when they don't get used for a while, it takes them a bit of time to get used to it.<br /><br />Hang in there Cathy.
